Grad-itude
Presenting work from graduating UC Davis Design students.
Celebrating the Senior Class
Presenting the work of undergraduate senior students, this annual exhibition celebrates the breadth, talent, creativity and multidisciplinary coursework from the UC Davis Department of Design. As the only comprehensive academic design program at the University of California system, the UC Davis Department of Design offers a challenging curriculum combining design history, theory and studio courses.
Time for Reflection
The theme Grad-itude gives students time to reflect on what they have accomplished and who has helped them on their design journey. Silver foil is used in the graphics to mirror the theme.
The Design Museum received over 75 submissions from the graduating class.
Make it Pop!
The reflective theme is continued through using mylar balloons in the poster and the introduction wall.
A Real Life Comments Section
Paper was installed on the floor to create another layer of interaction. Like a giant yearbook, visitors could doodle illustrations or add their input.
